Who?
Rishi Mehta is the leading voice behind Solarise.
A former IT consultant who, since becoming a father and increasingly concerned about the future, bet his career on helping to tackle climate change through the pivotal role of solar.
Passionate about the science, politics, economics and practical implementation of energy efficiency and Cleantech, with particular interests in energy/tech convergence themes including: Solar & Storage, Electric Vehicles, Smart Grids; Internet of Energy; Energy Arbitrage; Blockchain-enabled Local Energy Markets; Virtual Power Plants and other innovative market models for balancing the grid and accelerating the clean energy revolution.
Most recently in 2022, Head of Account Management UK, Otovo, at home, Rishi has also been a first-hand prosumer of solar PV, battery storage, time-of-use tariffs, plug-in vehicle and smart home technologies since 2018.
